Metamorphosis: Woman: Earth

we are now more than content
and less than hasty for expeditions

we are whole continents of flesh
basking on fulfillments unseen
with new eyes

we, wild, emboldened and untamed
nudes, teeth in the head of moans
swelling our stomachs with fruits
of conviction

we force our bodies between
terra firma and firmament
the I-must-appear-weightless-
in-this-sash----

must entertain, or be entertained,
in the whites of our eyes and dance...
oh dance our smiles 'cross
uncharted planets
